APRIL 26th & 27th, 2012

Congratulations to Whitney White, Jason Hahn, Darrel Shipman, and Jerry Bazin winners of the 2012 TTGC with an awesome score of 14 under par.  It wasn’t easy as competition was fierce this year with a three-way tie for first.  Whitney, Jason, Darrel, and Jerry won in a tense winner-take-all, closest to the pin chip off on the eighteenth green.

The Auction & Dinner the evening prior to the TTGC was a huge success also.  Everyone came well prepared for the “live” auction as paddles were raised at a frantic pace.  Some of the more sought after items included a Beach House in Melbourne Beach, FL that brought $3400,  a lake house in Marion, NC for $3200, a Cam Newton  autographed helmet for $750, and the most active bidding brought $9300 for three Board of Directors Dinners, planned, prepared, and served by your TT hosts.  All-in-all the Auction was our most successful to date.

Some comments......
“Moving the event to April was a great idea, can’t wait for next year...”
“Awesome auction, great food, great golf, can’t beat it....”
“Best charity golf tournament I’ve attended...”

Thanks to our Sponsors for their terrific support, to our tireless volunteers, and all those who participated!  Through your efforts we continue to work towards our mission statement of finding the cause and eventual cure for DIPG (diffused intrinsic pontine glioma).

Many Thanks to all of our Sponsors and Benefactors and a special thanks to the James & Beatrice Salah Charitable Trust. The James & Beatrice Salah Charitable Trust, Chaired by Noreen Burpee, had generously "challenged" us with a matching gift of up to $5,000 raised for Tyler's Treehouse "It's Time To Party" South Florida Event. Noreen and members of the Board who were in attendance, decided during the evening that the original "Challenge" had been overwhelmingly met and, in response, uped the ante to MATCH THE ENTIRE PROCEEDS OF THE EVENT!

Tyler's Treehouse can't thank you enough. Here is the list of all of our Sponsors and Benefactors....

2010 Tyler's Treehouse Golf Classic

"...class act."
"...great time for a wonderful cause."
          "...first class event!"
The 2010 Tyler's Treehouse Golf Classic was a great success.  We could not have done it without our wonderful sponsors, golfers, and volunteers.  The weather cooperated nicely and the golf course was in excellent condition for low scores.   We will not host a Golf Classic in 2011 as we are moving the timing of this event to the Spring.  The 2012 Tyler's Treehouse Golf Classic will be held in April.  We will keep you updated and look forward to teeing it up with you again.

Tyler's Treehouse Food & Wine Festival
"...beautiful venue, excellent food, and a great fundraiser."
"...perfect atmosphere for a wonderful event."
"...Tyler's Treehouse always hosts exceptional events that make you remember Tyler and how important his life was."
Tyler's Treehouse hosted a fundraiser outside of Tyler's home city of Charlotte for the first time to resounding success.  The food and wine from four different countries provided an excellent setting for Tyler's Treehouse supporters.  Thank you to the sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible.  You can be sure that we will do it again in 2011!

2009 Tyler's Treehouse Golf Classic

“…..first quality event.”
“…..the food, the auction, the golf course, and the people are all amazing.”
“…..exceptional event for a wonderful cause.”

The 2009 edition of the Tyler’s Treehouse Golf Classic was another success thanks to the sponsors, players, volunteers, and wonderful venues (Belle Acres and The Golf Club at Ballantyne).  We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to 2010.
